Ruby Belfanti
Ruby is from Australia and will improve your and your kids skiing
Hi! I’m Ruby from Australia
I’ve been passionate about skiing since I first started at 11, and knew that I was going to teach it one day. I have competed 6 winters across Australia and Austria. Switzerland will be my seventh winter as a ski instructor. I enjoy teaching all age groups, but particularly enjoy teaching adults, older kids and neuro divergent people.
My lessons will go as fast or slow as you need. I’ve taken clients from complete beginners to parallel in just 3 days, so we can progress at your pace. Whether we practice technique all day or have a relaxed, leisurely ski is up to you.
I have also participated in other sports throughout my life, including basketball, aerial circus, tennis and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I was also raised by a martial arts expert and while I can’t fight, I incorporate elements from these styles and teaching methods into my own teaching such as functional movement and biomechanics. Whether you have an athletic background or none at all, I can adapt my teaching to your needs and explain concepts in ways that makes sense to you.
Apart from skiing, I’m interested in linguistics, psychology, and neuroscience, which influence my approach to teaching. I love the cultural diversity that comes with working as a ski instructor and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I’m also a big foodie and love trying different foods from different cultures.
Looking forward to skiing with you!
