About Ben & Joe’s – Private Ski & Snowboard Lessons in Klosters & Davos
We teach with a personal, guest-first approach, adapting every lesson to your ability, mood, and the mountain conditions. Our core values are simple: Safety. Fun. Learning.
With private lessons, you set the start and finish times, and there’s no extra charge for additional people in your group. Prefer a small group? Try our popular 3-day “first-time” courses (just 2–3 students) or other special programs. We can also help plan your trip—connecting you with trusted local ski shops (with discounts on gear!) and recommending great places to stay in Klosters and Davos.
Get to Know About Founders
Gregor and Koni founded Ben&Joe’s, private ski and snowboarding lessons in 2016.
Gregor has been in the snow sports industry for 30 years doing back-to-back season as a snowboard instructor from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, NZ and Chile, USA, Switzerland).
Koni has a strong executive management back ground in the IT and Banking industry and if I may say so, is a man of many talents! Since he has turned his back to the corporate world, in his winters he has been teaching skiing for the last 14 seasons and his skills from the corporate world come in pretty handy in running a ski and snowboard school.
We are sure we make a great team!!
How we go about our lessons
At Ben&Joe's we are offering a very customer focused teaching style. Always considering our guests’ physical, mental and emotional state, as well as snow and weather conditions. Always true to our key values, SAFETY – FUN – LEARNING!
Our motivated and passionate ski and snowboard instructors:

Teach in German, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Flemish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Polish and Hungarian

Take videos and analyse your skiing/riding - have their cameras ready for those ‘Kodak’-/'Instagram Moments'

Know the best restaurants in the ski resorts around Davos and Klosters and are happy to make the reservation

Are happy to suggest a shop to rent equipment and help you find accommodation - don’t mind looking after bigger groups at no extra cost

Know the area in and around Davos and Klosters and have suggestions for excursions and bad weather programs
From beginner to racing and freestyle, our ski and snowboard instructors will guide you with joy and compassion. Your individual goals and needs concerning your ski and snowboarding lessons will be fulfilled!

Let us help to plan your perfect holiday
Let us help to organize your trip. We work together with several ski shops in Klosters and Davos which will look after you very well and will also give you a discount on your gear! We'll happily make suggestions for accommodation in Klosters and Davos. When you spend the day with us, we’ll start when you want to start and we’ll end your private ski or snowboard lesson when you are ready to do so. For half day sessions: We can run the morning till 12:00 to be able to start the afternoon from 13:00 onwards. How does that sound? There is no charge for extra people! Have a look at our small size (2-3 students) 3 day first time lesson classes and our other specials. Either way, we’ll get you going, and that's a promise!

Ben and Joe actually exist. They are two brothers and I had the pleasure to have known and taught them since they were 3 and 5 years old. Season after season. Sure, we have a job to do to teach and improve people’s skills in skiing and snowboarding but sometimes we form these strong bonds and almost get adopted into these families a little bit. This was certainly the case with Ben and Joe!
So, one day when I was with Joe on the Schaffuergli T-Bar at Madrisa (don’t worry, it is a state of the art 6 seater chairlift now), I told him, that, if I ever start my own ski and snowboard school, I would name it Ben&Joe’s and the slogan would be ‘Wel’ll get you going!’. He hesitated for a moment and said: ‘Sure, my commission won’t be too high’. Pretty funny for an 8-year-old right?
Long story short, after I asked the boys mum to name the school after them, (and she agreed), I followed through with it.
Forever grateful, thank you Dilla, thank you Donald!!
And luckily Dilla and Donald are both lawyer and therefore Ben&Joe’s private ski and snowboarding lessons is a registered trademark now.
